Reviews

Don't just take our word for it.

What teams said after playing Client Quest with us, from small groups to a room of 25.

"The game is fun, clear, and full of real-life strategies. Playing all three roles showed how the same issue looks totally different from each side."Marketer

What people said after their workshop

Filmed right after the session

  • "Same problem, but everyone comes with a different perspective."

Being in three different roles, you understand your teammates and where they're coming from. Pretty helpful for the team overall.

    Marketer

  • "I got to be both the client and the project manager."

I've never managed a project before, so it was good practice. People open up more when they feel understood and heard.

    Developer

  • "It's really similar to how it goes in real life."

I'd recommend it to other students too. It felt very real.

    Student

  • "I think I can use that more in the real world."

Repeat what the client says in your answers, so they feel more heard.

How a workshop works

Roleplay as client, project manager and moderator.

Three roles to see all perspectives. No client experience needed.

  1. 15 to 20 min

    Intro

A live survey of your team, how to play, and a short demo round.

  2. 60 to 90 min

    Gameplay

Three rounds, so everyone plays each role. Each client meeting runs 10 to 15 minutes.

  3. 20 to 30 min

    Debrief

What worked, what caused issues, and 3 to 5 behaviors the team commits to carrying into real client work.

The client's cards: a persona card, the client side of the quest, a company card and Client Action cards

A table of four or five works too: the extra players join as a second moderator or project manager.

FAQ

Questions teams ask us

Is Client Quest only for agencies?

No. Any team that works with clients, or with other teams, can play: sales, account management, customer support, finance and banking, engineering, construction, and internal teams that serve other departments. For your workshop, we write quests around your own situations.

Can we run it in Thai?

Yes. We run workshops in Thai or English. The cards are in English, and players talk in whatever language they use with their clients.

Some of our team don't like role-play. Will it work for them?

Yes. Nobody acts in front of the whole room. Everyone plays at a table of three with cards in hand: a client persona, or Strategy cards with a line to say.

Do people need client experience? Can managers join?

No client experience needed. Managers are welcome: they can play the client, or sit at their own table so the team speaks freely.

Where does it happen, and how far ahead should we book?

At your office, anywhere in Bangkok. We need tables for groups of three and a screen. Book 2 to 3 weeks ahead so we have time to write your quests.

What paperwork do we get?

A quotation, then a tax invoice and receipt. You withhold 3% on the fee and send us the withholding tax certificate. For vendor registration, we can send our company documents and bank details.

When do we pay?

We send the invoice just before the workshop, with 30 days to pay by bank transfer.

What if we need to move or cancel?

Moving the date is free up to 7 days before the workshop. If you cancel within 7 days, the fee is 25% of the price.

Can we claim the DSD skill-development tax deduction?

Not yet. No Client Quest workshop has been certified by the Department of Skill Development (DSD), and your company would need to apply before the workshop date. If you want to try, tell us when you book and we'll send the outline, timetable and our company documents. Check with your accountant first.

Can we buy the game and run it ourselves?

Yes. The box is ฿3,990, plays 2 to 30 people, and comes with a rulebook and a quickstart guide. See the box
